1914-2009

Born in 1914, Sri Bhallamudi Seetrama Murty , well known as " Abbai" to all his near and dear ones, was the eldest of the four children of Sri Venkata Suryanarayana murty and kameswaramma.

His degree in Sanskrit earned him the title " SIROMANI"

He was a Pandit, scholar and great poet. He wrote poetry in both Sanskrit and Telugu.

• "Tribhashika" he wrote in Telugu, Oriya and Hindi helped many students to learn grammar in all the three languages simultaneously.
• " Saranardhini" his master piece poetry in Telugu was a prescibed as text book for Intermediate in Orissa and also later for Deploma in Oriental languages in A.P.
• The other published works include : Ekalavya, Gangopakhyanam and Nivedana in Telugu and Nruthimanjari in Sanskrit.

He taught in Maharaja's Boy's High School in Parlakimidi, Gajapati District , Orissa .

He was a dramatist and an aclaimed theatre artist.
